Beneath a Willow (courtesy of Ibrahimson)

Just when i was hollow,
cupid shot the arrow,
i had finally got an in-law,
and stil being very callow,
Never knew it would get me
beneath the willow

She soon begun to bellow,
Her wedding ring hadn't made a
furrow,
Before we became an unbalanced
seesaw,
And it was out the window,
I got closer to my space beneath
the willow

Life became very narrow,
My thinking became shallow,
In my heart she made a burrow,
I now stand at the edge of the
space beneath the willow

Food became hard to swallow,
Eyes, hands and skin became
jaundiced yellow,
I even forgot i had a fellow,
And they said i had a cancer in the
marrow,
I finally filled my space beneath
the willow.
